BOAT LAUNCH ACCESS  

LAKE HOURS & RULES

           
              

 Location:
 
The County boat launch is on the south end of the first lake as you come in
 from the south. From Dubuque Rd (also called Woods Creek Rd), turn north
 onto South Lake Roesiger Rd. Stay right at the "Y. In approximately 1/4 mile
 the launch will be on your LEFT.

 Parking:

 Is limited, so please be courteous and aware of how you park, where you park   and local residents property. There is a tight parking area for 4-6 vehicles inside the launch area and a nearby parking strip that can hold 4-6 vehicles. Otherwise, street parking.

The launch:

Is older and made of concrete pads. Gravel is firm but there is no dock. No tie downs. maximum depths in launch area is 8 feet.

Depths:

First Lake (South):
West side depths under 10 feet can range out 25 feet in places. Average depths 35-65 feet.

Second Lake (Middle): Be very careful. Average depth in the middle channel is under 5 feet.

Portage Point (Between Middle and North Lake) There is an extremely shallow (average 1.5 feet) portage point between the middle and north lake.  Stay between the vertical PVC markers and bring your prop up.

Third Lake (North): Again shallow on west shores. Average depths 65-115 feet.
 

 

 Lake Roesiger Wake and Speed Rules:

 Dates:
 May 25 thru September 25th, there is a 35 MPH speed limit. Skiing and /or speeds above
 8 MPH are allowed inside of orange balls. All other times, the speed limit is 8 MPH.
 

 Hours:
 Speeds above 8 MPH are only allowed during the hours of 10:30  AM through 5:30 PM.

 All other times the speed limit on the lake is 8 MPH. No Wake Zones are identified
 by vertical white buoys.

 
 Boating Direction:
 
Speeds over 8 MPH are allowed ONLY in a counter-clockwise direction.
